ASKI – Heterotopia Partnership

Cultural Heritage, History

Description

Thanks to funding from the Greek Ministry of Culture, the Contemporary Social History Archives (ASKI) partnered with museum-theatre specialists from Heterotopia and Museotek to develop an online learning program.

Contemporary Social History Archives (ASKI) is a vibrant hub for archival documentation, research, and public history. It offers on-site and digital access to thousands of primary sources on the political and social history of modern Greece, with a particular focus on the 20th century. Through its collections and initiatives, ASKI connects historical knowledge with collective memory and supports democratic participation.

Heterotopia is a non-profit creative research studio based in Athens. We are working to raise the profile of theatre, performance and hybrid creative arts practice across the Greek heritage sector by promoting their value as research, interpretation, and engagement tools for museums, archives, historic environments, and sites of memory.
