Description

Nikos Kazantzakis is one of Greece’s greatest writers. He engaged in all parts of speech. Nowadays, his way of living and his work continue to inspire many artists, coming from different art forms. His work has been transferred to theater, cinema, television, music and opera by great professionals worldwide.
Focusing on the Museum’s art collection, we discuss about the Cretan writer, expanding our knowledge regarding his work and personality. We discover different forms of the fine arts, understand their value, and realizing that each person expresses themselves in their own unique way. We learn how to read a work of art and create our own works taking inspiration from Kazantzakis’ writings.
