Travelling for Nikos Kazantzakis was very important, a necessary need for his own soul. It gave him immense pleasure and inspiration to discover different parts of the world and meeting people from all walks of life. During his travels, he was constantly taking notes of moments and insights. He was also, collecting actual words where he kept in travel diaries.
Participants will have the opportunity to start their session by watching a short digital tour of Nikos Kazantzakis Museum’s permanent exhibition. They will continue by solving riddles and listening to stories about the writer’s travels. By the end of the session, they will create their own travel sensory journal, which will allow them to step into the shoes of Kazantzakis and understand his work in a deeper extend.

• Discover how to collect information from a collection.
• Work as a team.
• Identify the places he traveled to.
• Have the opportunity and the space to express themselves creatively.
• Create their own travel sensory journal.
